Las Vegas - mostly Fremont -- Sprawling Parking Area of the Las Vegas Hilton. The Riviera is across the street and the Las Vegas strip is a few miles away. The Hilton is the major hotel that is not along the strip, rather next to the Las Vegas Convention Center. A monorail now connects strip hotels to the Hilton and Convention Center. It's a great way to get around the strip, but the monorail does NOT connect with downtown. A bus is available from the monorail's final stop at the Sahara hotel but it's a city bus (route 108). For more than one person Taxis are probably the best way to get downtown and to and from the Airport unless you are on a very tight budget. Shuttles to and from the airport are only 4.50 per person, but may stop at many places before your destination.
